Local artist Phil Barton is putting on an urban nature art trail opening in April and available at all times when the Market Garden is open until 02 November.

It also features guest artists Robina Ullah, Steve Sutton, Sardar Majeed and Park Range Yarn Bombers who made the spectacular Green Man. All the work on show features an aspect of nature in the wider Fallowfield, Rusholme and Moss side areas to inspire and motivate us all.

Our annual, much loved Wassail returns!

Wassailing is a Twelfth Night tradition with pagan roots, practised in Britain for centuries to ensure a good harvest the following season. It takes place in the weeks after Christmas and involves visiting an orchard for singing, dancing, drinking and general merrymaking.

A two hour workshop pruning fruit trees in the millennium orchard in Platt Fields with expert Dan. Perfect if you have a fruit tree at home, or a neglected orchard like us.
