To coincide with the Farmers Market on 5th July, Creative Rusholme are putting on a programme of nature related walks - around the proposed Platt Fields Wellbeing Tree Walk with Jane Morris of Friends of Platt Fields Park at 11.00 and around the Art Trail with artist and Curator Phil Barton at 12.30 and 2.30.
There will also be art activities on site - try your hand at knitting with the Park Range Yarn Bombers or mosaic making with resident artist Sardar Abdullah Majeed. There will also be creative activities centred on the proposed Nature Neighbourhood Plan for the communities around Platt Fields Park developed by MUD with support from Creative Rusholme. We will be at the Market Garden from 10.00 to 3.00.
The Nature Neighbourhood Art Trail has been installed at Platt Fields Market Garden and will be in place until the autumn. You are welcome to walk around it at any times the Market Garden is open. Leaflets with details of the works on show are available in dispensers at the garden entrance.
All welcome, and its free!
