ABOUT MUD KITCHEN
MUD Kitchen is our not-for-profit sustainable cafe and caterers. We’ve evolved a lot since the first time we cooked a meal for our volunteers at Platt Fields Market Garden. Now we feed hundreds of visitors and customers a week at our volunteer days, café and events, with delicious, seasonal, sustainable food, either grown at our gardens or sourced from local organic farms. All profits go directly back into MUD’s charitable work, using gardening to improve the food system and support people in our community.

THE CAFE
We run our cafe at Platt Fields Market Garden from Friday to Sunday.
On Fridays we run Community Lunch at 1pm for £6 alongside our speciality coffee, seasonal bakes and light bites.
Make sure you arrive before 1pm to get a lunch token, we often sell out by 1:30pm
At the weekends we offer sandwiches fire up the BBQ alongside barista coffees, pastries and bakes.
Make sure you check out our events as we often change our menu and are sometimes closed to the public for ticketed events or private bookings.
