About the event
The day will be filled with hands-on workshops such as wildflower walks with the Herb Society, wildflower tea making with Into the Gathering Dusk, flower arranging with Gaskell Garden Project and more. If you prefer to simply relax, you can enjoy our seating area with music, themed food and drinks available all day at our café and market stall.

Join the Herb Society to learn about UK's wildflowers and their medicinal uses. You can hop on to a guided wildflower tour of Platt Fields Market Garden or get a closer look at tincture and salve making.
Herb Society will have a stall throughout the event with promotional material such as Herb Society posters and also some herbal products for sale. The stall will also be a demo space for herbal preservation, such as tincture and salve making. The stall will be located in the green.
12-12:30 and 13:30-14:00:
Wildflower walks will take place around the whole Platt Fields Market Garden site.
Into the Gathering Dusk invites you to get familiar with wildflowers - what do they feel like, smell like, look like? And finally, what do they taste like? Emma will guide you in making a freshly picked wildflower tea. Spaces are limited so be quick! Please register here.

11:00 - 12:00 - Wildflower arranging with Barb Studio! Drop-in all day.
11:00 - 15:00 - Zabardast Face Painting! - Join Samina of Zabardast Face Painting for an all day drop-in free floral face painting session!
12:30 - 13:30 - Join Gaskell Garden Project for an insighftul talk about the flower industry and the wasteful surplus it creates, followed by a flower arranging workshop utilising surplus flowers! This talk and workshop will take place in the Froghouse awning.
13:30 - 15:00 - Help Gaskell Garden Project do some surplus flower arranging!
