The Pankhurst Plot is a community garden set up by MUD, Emmeline’s Pantry and Friends of Chorlton Park. We grow food and flowers for the food bank and provide a range of gardening sessions and host a forest school for the public.

The Pankhurst Plot is a calm space for growing, learning and meeting new people. Pop down for a visit to find out more or head to our volunteer page to sign up.
Monday
Wellbeing Sessions
10 - 12 and 1:30 - 3:30

We run a morning and an afternoon gardening wellbeing session on a Friday. This is a small group with an emphasis on more calming gardening activities and on rainy days we’ll have cosy indoor activities to do. Gardening is about connecting to nature, connecting to people and learning new skills. These sessions aim to improve and support people's wellbeing through different gardening activities. If you feel like you would benefit from joining this group please email us.
Thursday
Open Volunteering
10 - 4

On Mondays we have open volunteering where we all get involved in gardening activities. From composting, seed sowing or willow weaving each session is different and there is always a variety of activities for everyone to try.

The sessions are drop in so feel free to stay as short or as long as you like. Hot drinks and biscuits provided and there is a Co-op down the road if you would like to have lunch with us.
