This winter solstice join us in our large fairylit polytunnel to feast on sharing platters.
This ancient Persian/Iranian tradition is a night when friends and family gather together to eat, drink and read poetry. Together, we’ll celebrate the transition from dark to light, renewal of the sun, victory of light over darkness, and eat some really lovely food.
With a full belly we’ll share poems. You are so welcome to bring a poem to share, and if you have a poem but don’t feel like reading it we have our resident poet Joey on board who would be happy to read it out on your behalf. This is totally optional, so no pressure!
We’ll round the night off with live music from local Kurdish artists.
Vegetarian, vegan and gluten free options available. Alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks will be available to purchase. Be aware that we can advise on whether allergens are in our food but there is always a risk of cross contamination due to the nature of our kitchen.
Apologies but we can’t offer any refunds for any reason, including in the unlikely event the festival has to be cancelled for any reason.
Be aware your email confirmation is your ticket. You don’t need anything else.
Tickets will be available soon.
