About the event
An afternoon exploring biodiversity and three aspects of pottery; digging, processing and making forms from Platt Fields clay.
Create pottery and learn how to process clay from digging a wildlife pond through workshops run by Frida Cooper, Joe Hartley, Meg Beamish and Mike Hodson.
The workshops will offer a range of hand building techniques including press-moulding, slab-work and a go on the potters wheel. During the afternoon you can produce plant pots and dishes for yourself to take home and for the market garden to keep.
