MABON: Harvest Festival 2024

Welcome and all are invited to this years HARVEST FESTIVAL AKA MABON!

To celebrate the a plentiful harvest and to say goodbye to Summer and hello to Autumn, we are throwing our 3rd annual harvest festival at Platt Fields Market Garden. 

What to expect:

We want to showcase the local areas best food producers with a Fresh Produce Stall including fruit, vegetables, herbs, flowers, honey.

MUD Kitchen will be firing up the grill again will a new brunch menu plus some Mabon speicals plus bakes from our micro bakery.

Plus there will be a Bar will be available including an ale and cider bar, hot and cold drinks.

We'll have Bollin Morris 11am-1pm then special gust DJ's TBA who will be spinning some ambient folk records top set the mood throughout the afternoon.

Flower Crown workshops and other crafts TBA

For the kids there will be the sand pit and Kids Area for messy play down at The Frog House plus face painting and storytelling. Times TBA

Dan from MUD and The Friends of Platt Fields Park will be leading the Apple Pressing from 12pm and chopping, scratting, pressing and drinking of apple juice will go on throughout the day. Any extra apple presses are welcome to join in, we're going to have a lot of apples! Please bring your unwanted apples too!

We'll also be running the Allotment Show Competition! 

 The winners will be judged by a specially selected MUD panel of judges for each category. 

Bring your entry at 1pm to be judged at 1:30 pm

• Best Pickle
• Best Ferment
• Best Honey

Later in the evening we have a very special Supper Club hosted by Mister Obat.
