About the event
Join Myco for a reading group session examining how international conservation efforts can often be entwined with colonialist practices and increased policing and violence towards people of colour. This is a one-off reading group and not part of a longer programme, although if it goes well we might run other similar events in the future.
Questions and topics will be guided by the readings but everyone should be able to contribute regardless of whether you’ve done them or not. We want to emphasize accessible & collaborative learning, which is why we have ensured that there are multiple different forms of media and not just academic texts.
